After hosting such a lovely fun filled workshop with Witch in The Wild, we are so excited do announce our second out of the winter workshop series: Caligraphy with Paula Lee.
APRIL 9TH SOLD OUT – NEW DATE ADDED – APRIL 23RD 4PM
Not unlike Hunt and Gather, Paula Lee is inspired by nature, aims for her work to be delicate yet vivid, simple yet refined. Like the unevenness in a branch and the breathy space within leaves, she celebrates character and every little detail in between.
Paula will be teaching an introduction to modern calligraphy class where students will learn the essentials – the tools and how to use them, basic strokes and technique, and composing the full alphabet. Students will also learn a practise routine they can bring home and continue their calligraphy journey with. All are welcome – no previous experience required! Also, participants will get to create a small amber bottle floral arrangement filled with blooms instructed by Tellie of Hunt and Gather.
Cost is $100/person
Guests will take home/enjoy
1 nib holder
1 container of black ink
1 instructional booklet
1 Amber bottle floral arrangements

The workshop will be taking place on Sunday, April 23rd at Hunt and Gather (1665 Bloor St. W.) at 4:00pm.
